Posting To Social Media
Can be laborious and time consuming. This is why many social media experts prefer to use social media management tools to cut down on the work and the time involved.
Keep in mind though, that some social media websites prefer that you use their sites to post to them.
Facebook’s EdgeRank algorithm, for example, has the ability to determine what you see in your feed. It also can determine if that post you spent all that time on, is coming from a third party app or from Facebook itself. What that means is it will rank higher any posts that come from Facebook itself over third party apps. This means your customer might not see that post you worked so hard on.
Plus, your Facebook friends can hide your updates from third party apps.
So stay on their good side…
So if you have the time, post everything manually on your Facebook timeline.
But WHO has that kind of time?
I certainly don’t. So let’s take a look at some tools that will get the job done quickly and easily.
Buffer is one of the best at what it does. It allows you to post to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google+. One of my favorite things in Buffer is the ability to set a scheduling pattern, for EACH profile. Then all you need to do is add your updates and Buffer sends them out at the next available scheduled time slot.
Buffer also has browser extensions and mobile apps that allows you to add content to your queue no matter where you are.
Buffer has free and paid accounts to suit any budget.
Tweetdeck is a Twitter only tool, but it’s one of the most powerful out there. Tweetdeck gets you real-time tracking, organizing and engagement.
Plus you can schedule Tweets…
Did I mention it’s free?
I like free…
eClincher is another web app that can make life a bit easier. Like others, you can post to your social media accounts or schedule posts with Auto Post Queues. Your Queues can be set up to share across multiple social profiles and pages.
Sadly eClincher doesn’t have a free account that I can find, only a 14 day free trial. But their paid plans start at just $12/month, when paid annually.
Another good tool that allows you to post to your social media accounts. What’s special about dlvr.it is it lets you curate content from your rss feeds.
Every time your favorite sites post new content, your social accounts will automatically update with the link + title and the author to their new posts. This allows you to deliver a constant follow of curated content.
Can you say back-links!
Well folks, that’s some of my favorite social media automation tools. What do you use and why? Tell us in the comments and share this post with all your friends.
